I will be EVERYTHING
I will be EVERYTHING is a new show created by NIE with children as our co-creators.
North North North
In January Alex, Kjell, Elke, Elisabet and Martin went to Svalbard, the northern most tip of Europe to spend a week there as part of research and development time for North, North, North. The idea was to create the first of 4 shows based on stories from the geographical extremities of Europe. However, upon hearing the story of S A Andree’s tragic arctic balloon expedition of 1897, the company decided to explore this narrative as the starting point for North North North.
NIE in Peterborough
NIE has teamed up Vivacity, Eastern Angles, metal and Peterborough City Council and Arts Council England to support the cultural development of the City.
Pim and Theo
Pim Fortuyn was a Dutch far right political leader, Theo Van Gogh was a left wing anarchist film-maker – they were both murdered by extremists. The show will explore the opposing but oddly linked lives of two key Dutch political figures and what these lives, and deaths, can tell us about our times. This show is inspired by Ian Buruma’s book “The Limits of Tolerance”.
